"During this time, the last 8 months of COVID, social unrest and political chaos, I decided to be gentle on my hair. Being aware of all I do to it even if it's not heat, I was pulling an elastic piece tight, using aggressive tools that I'd had for a decade or more and had let go of letting it breath especially at night even how I protect it while I sleep. I am Greek, with a full head of dark brown, almost black hair. When I first met Shelly over 5 years ago I jokingly told her "I'd love to be a blonde" and she said "I can do that!" She took care to make sure my hair stayed healthy and beautiful as she took my color to a gorgeous blonde with lowlights and highlights. It was spectacular and I received many compliments on it. After 5 years as a blonde, I decided to go back to natural and Shelly created a gorgeous chocolate brown shade with caramel highlights. I just love it!
